When Do You Do Night Dives?

We offer night dives on demand, any day of the week, whenever we have 4 or more interested divers. Night dives in Roatan are especially unique, because of our bioluminescent phenomenon called the String of Pearls. Chances of seeing this are best when there is little to no moonlight, or the moon rises late or sets early.

Our dive center requires that divers to have their Advanced Open Water certification with one of their training dives having been a night adventure. We ask that divers have been day diving with us or another shop on Roatan during their trip, so that equipment and weight needs are all checked out before diving in a night environment.

If you do not have the adequate night dive training, we offer a Night Adventure training dive which also gives you credit toward your PADI Advanced Open Water and Night Diver Specialty. Study time for this is minimal - approx 30-45 minutes and includes some light reading, multiple choice review and one skill performed on the dive. The rest of the dive is enjoying all the unique "night life" diving after dusk has to offer.
